Joining the Association of Engineers Bangladesh (AEB) is simple and open to qualified engineers and graduates who share the organization’s values and vision. Interested applicants can apply by filling out the official AEB Membership Form, available through the AEB website here. Applicants must select their preferred membership category — Life Member, General Member, or Associate Member — and submit the required documents, such as proof of educational qualification, IEB membership (where applicable), and a recent photograph. The completed application should be submitted along with the admission fee and other applicable charges. Upon verification and approval by the Membership Committee, the applicant will receive official confirmation of their AEB membership and can start enjoying all associated benefits.

Before You Apply

Get the following information and documents before you open the Application Form:

1. IEB Membership (For Life Member and General Member)
2. Certificate or University ID Card (For Associate Member)
3. Two References with AEB ID (President or Secretary of JCD you worked with)
4. Payment voucher of Admission Fee

How to Apply

1. Fill in Personal Information

• Enter your full name (first + last)
• Select your member type (General / Associate / Life)
• Provide email address, mobile number, NID (national ID)
• Give your permanent address and present address
• Indicate gender and optionally blood group
• Upload a recent passport-size photograph (JPG/PNG, ≤ 2 MB)

2. Provide Professional Details

• State your current position/title
• Enter your current organization name
• Select organization type (Private / Public)
• Fill in your work address

3. List Socio-Political & Other Affiliations (Optional / If Applicable)

• For each organization you’ve been involved with, provide:
   • Name of organization
   • From date → To date
   • Position held
• For other society memberships, include:
   • Society name
   • From / To dates
   • Membership ID (if any)

4. Add References

• Reference 1: Name and AEB ID (must be an existing AEB member)
• Reference 2: Name and AEB ID (must be an existing AEB member)

5. Payment & Submission

• Select payment method: bKash or Nagad
• Enter the sender number (the mobile number used to send the payment)
• Enter the payment reference number
• Upload screenshot or proof of payment
• Submit the completed form

What will happen after submission

AEB Secretariat will verify your information and documents. Result will be notified through Email and SMS.
